To maintain the integrity of the conference, only paying delegates, volunteers, and those approved by canfitpro are invited to attend sessions. Any attendees found violating these rules will be removed from the venue and their canfitpro membership and certification(s) will be revoked. Please ensure you arrive on time for your session. If you arrive 20 minutes after the session starts, you will have missed a substantial part of the education and will not be eligible for CECs.


Session handouts will be available online one week prior and 30 days after the conference.  Handouts will be listed by session number and name and will be subject to availability (as submitted by the presenter). Please remember to print your session handouts and bring them on-site or view them on your tablet or smartphone.


Without the equipment provided by our sponsors, the variety of sessions available to you would be limited. Please help us ensure the integrity of our conference and our relationship with our sponsors by respecting their property. Theft costs everyone. If you are found taking equipment that does not belong to you, you will be removed from the conference and your canfitpro membership and certification(s) will be revoked.


For the safety and consideration of all concerned, particularly your child’s, children and babies are not allowed into conference sessions at any time. This includes babies in strollers. This is also necessary to maintain the educational atmosphere of the conference sessions. Contact your hotel about childcare and nursing facilities. Children and babies are allowed on the trade show floor but are not permitted to use any of the equipment being shown.


Photography, video, and audio taping are not permitted in any conference session. Delegates found violating this rule will be expelled from the conference without refund.


While we recognize that deodorant is necessary (especially after an intense workout!), please limit the use of scented products.

Cancellations for the event,  Intensive and/or Workshops must be received in writing to canfitpro by or fax: 416-493-1756. Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to the conference date will not incur a cancellation penalty. Cancellations received between 5 and 60 days prior to the published start date of the event will be charged an administration fee of 15% of the total fee (plus applicable taxes). No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than five (5) days prior to the published start date of the event. No refunds or credits will be given for no-shows, partially used registrations or on-site registrations.

If all session requests are full, you will be assigned a “stand-by” status, which allows you to attend any session during that time slot on a space-available basis. You will be admitted to the session after the pre-registered delegates. Equipment may not be available for stand-by delegates.

A major benefit of volunteering for a canfitpro event is the free access to educational sessions. These sessions are available on Saturday ONLY. You cannot pre-register for sessions. As a Volunteer you will be on Stand-By for all sessions you would like to attend. Please ensure that your attendance is recorded so that you will be awarded CECs for your attendance to that session. Volunteers can register for any Intensives at the lowest Member Delegate rate, under the assumption that you fulfill your Volunteer commitment.

Kathy Landry

Having “retired” from classical ballet, Kathy joined the fitness industry in 2006 by completing Training of Instructors in Aerobic Dance (FIDA). Kathy then moved to Montreal and began teaching group fitness classes while pursuing studies in accounting.  Her passion for movement and her desire to help people pushed her to later change directions and pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Montreal. In 2015, Kathy joined the canfitpro PROTRAINER team (FIS training) and became a National Master Trainer for BOSU. In 2016, she opened her own fitness studio and joined the POUND Rockout Workout ICON team.

Michelle Hennebery

Michelle has always had a passion for fitness, teaching and fun. She has 14 years experience as a dance instructor and is AFLCA Group Fitness certified. As an instructor and HIGH Fitness Guru, Michelle’s goal for every participant is to give them the confidence to feel uplifted and energized by creating an inclusive community.

She feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to spread the HIGH Fitness love travelling throughout Canada presenting and training new HIGH Fitness instructors.

Rob Dickson

Rob has been a personal trainer over the last 15 years. He has a BSc in Human Kinetics with a minor in Nutrition, is a CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologist and a canfitpro PRO TRAINER. In addition to personal training, Rob has held many different positions in the health and fitness industry. Now, Rob spends his time coaching, teaching, writing, lecturing and, of course, spending time with his wife and two kids.
