Regardless of where you’re at, working in the fitness industry is an ever-evolving landscape filled with endless (often overwhelming!) possibilities. Join us for a discussion on how to balance your life and thrive as a fitness professional.

Kathryn McKenzie

Session: 1002
A practical session filled with body weight exercises that can be used in one on one or group fitness settings.

1:15 PM – 2:30 PM
Functional Patterns Systems (W/S)
Daniel Smith

Session: 1003
Attendees of this seminar will have the opportunity to assess their body from a joint perspective. The FPS Seminar would like to provide answers as to why we have the limitations that we do through using a self-directed methodology. Much of our limitation in movement comes from certain joints not being able to function the way they were meant to. If you have been dealing with ongoing issues (chronic joint pain or stiffness) this seminar will help you have a better understanding of the direction to take to alleviate the stress.

2:45 PM – 4:00 PM
Understanding Your Networth (L)
Daniel Smith

Session: 1004
Attendees of this seminar will have the opportunity to better familiarize themselves with why they do what they do. We all understand that helping people is the first and foremost goal but in order to be able to do that, we must understand how to run a succinct business. If we cannot do that, we cannot experience longevity in our field and thus we cannot thrive. Which will eventually affect our client base. You will leave with a full business building package to guarantee growth in your personal training enterprise.

5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
CPR Level A (W/S)
TBD

Session: 1005
The CPR Level A is a comprehensive course that will increase your knowledge to perform CPR on adults in any emergency.

Topics for CPR Level A include:

  • Risk factors for health disease; knowing which factors you can/cannot prevent
  • Identifying the key signs and symptoms of sudden cardiac arrest
  • Knowing the signs and symptoms of an adult choking and the steps in providing first aid
  • Knowing the benefits and proper position of placing a victim in recovery position
  • Learn to perform adult CPR
